In this role you will collaborate with peers to achieve plant safety and environmental goals, support business results, develop our site safety vision and support the overall plant/business mission.
Join the Joplin Foodservice Manufacturing Facility as a Health Safety & Environmental Manager. In this role you will collaborate with peers to achieve plant goals, support business results and the plant mission. The Joplin North American Foodservice (NAF) facility makes frozen products, Pillsbury biscuits and pie in a non-union plant with 580 employees. Joplin strives to be the destination of choice for General Mills through our commitment to protect our people and our brands, our delivery of exceptional results, and our culture.
This role will report directly to the Plant Manager and be an active member of the site leadership team. This individual will be expected to help set tactical as well as strategic direction for both the HSE function and overall site. This role will have 2-3 direct reports and will assume other key leadership responsibilities requiring flexibility, agility, and problem solving.
