We are looking to recruit a Full Time Health, Safety & Environmental Manager. This position will be based at our office in Balbriggan, North Co. Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your career, by becoming an integral part of our HSE team.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Level 5 qualification in Occupational Safety & Health.
  • Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH).
  • Associate membership with IEMA - IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management.
  • NEBOSH Health and Safety Certificate both General and Construction.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Recent experience of working in HSE role at a similar level and the ability to drive change through understanding people (culture change).
  • Experience of completing health, safety and environmental audits to ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • Self-motivated and resilient with an ability to prioritise work to ensure tasks are completed within time constraints.
  • “Train the trainer” course completed

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include, (but not limited to):

  • Developing, implementing, maintaining and managing robust health, safety and environmental management systems (to ISO 14001 and 45001 standards) across Techrete including manufacturing plants, construction projects and local support offices.
  • Coaching, mentoring and supporting individuals both within and outside the HSE function.
  • Collaborate with internal teams supporting bids, pre-construction and quality from an HSE lens.
  • Driving quality incident investigations detailing root causes and corrective actions.
  • Reporting on key HSE metrics and trends.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
