As our Health & Safety Graduate, you’ll work closely with the Health & Safety Manager to implement our Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment strategy at site level. You will support the development and delivery of health and safety initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and help build a strong culture of safety across the hospital. This role is hands-on, giving you the chance to gain practical experience while working with dedicated professionals who are committed to excellence in healthcare.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Support the HSE Manager with the implementation of safety and environment strategies.
• Conduct workplace inspections, identify hazards, and support risk reduction initiatives.
• Develop, review, and manage risk assessments, Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Safe Systems of Work (SSW).
• Manage and control contractors on-site to ensure HSE compliance.
• Coordinate HSE meetings, take minutes, and track action points.
• Assist in analysing safety data and generating reports.
• Facilitate employee training, briefings, and support continuous improvement in HSE practices.
