About the Role As we expand our facilities and curriculum offer, we are strengthening our commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing across our nine buildings and diverse learning environments. We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of our Health & Safety function. This unique role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational responsibilities, making it ideal for an experienced professional or an ambitious advisor ready to step up. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the College’s Health & Safety strategy. Oversee audits, inspections, risk assessments, and policy development. Deliver training and induction programmes. Monitor and investigate incidents, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. Lead Health & Safety Committee meetings and liaise with external bodies such as the HSE. what we're looking for NEBOSH Certificate (essential) and ideally a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. Membership of IOSH. Proven experience managing health & safety in a complex organisation. Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is required.
