Description:

Are you ready to lead a transformative project in Health & Safety? Logistics UK is seeking a proactive and skilled Health & Safety Manager to play a pivotal role in implementing a brand-new Health & Safety system across our organisation. This is a 1-year fixed-term contract where you’ll have the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on one of the UK’s leading logistics organisations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a recognised qualification in occupational H&S (NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Have experience in implementing Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions.
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, professional approach to driving change and promoting safety.
  • Be organised, adaptable, and ready to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the implementation of a comprehensive Health & Safety framework, including a cutting-edge Governance, Risk, and Compliance solution.
  • Developing and embedding policies and procedures that ensure compliance with legislation and drive a culture of safety.
  • Conducting audits, reporting on key KPIs, and maintaining high standards such as ISO 45001.
  • Collaborating with senior management and engaging employees across the organisation to ensure seamless adoption of the new system.

This is no ordinary role! You’ll spearhead the design, development, and rollout of an innovative Health & Safety system, ensuring it aligns with best practices and the operational needs of Logistics UK.
