Reporting to the National HSEQ Operations Manager the purpose of this role is focused on the provision of advice and support to the Utilities line of business, with a focus on driving improvements in Health and Safety performance by leveraging UGL’s H&S Strategy, H&S Management System, Assurance Program, and One HSE Culture Program. About the role The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. About you Minimum Diploma Qualified in Health & Safety or related field, supported by solid experience in a managing a H&S function construction environments or heavy industry is required. Experienced in sub-contractor management across multiple disciplines within the construction and or Heavy Industry environments Excellent knowledge of the relevant H&S legislation at a state and national level Demonstrated capability in implementing H&S improvement programs/strategies Ability to influence positive H&S outcomes at both a Project and Corporate level. Experience in leading incident investigations for significant events- with ICAM qualifications preferred. Can demonstrate a knowledge of various commercial agreement strategies and the indirect relationship they have on H&S management. Willingness to travel interstate and across the country multiple times a month to support our project teams.
