With years of experience in aluminium rolling division, it is one of the most important aluminium industries in the European and international markets. Position Purpose Ensure the implementation of Health & Safety policies and procedures within the plant, controlling compliance with legal requirements and company standards, aiming to prevent accidents and continuously improve the working environment Key Accountabilities Design, implement, and monitor the Health & Safety Management System Conduct inspections and risk assessments across facilities and processes Develop and maintain emergency response plans Train employees on safety procedures and proper use of PPE Investigate incidents and prepare reports with preventive recommendations Provide guidance on facility design, new processes, and equipment selection Introduce methods and technologies for continuous improvement Collaborate with Production and Maintenance Managers to ensure safety measures are applied Qualifications and Experience Diploma or Degree from a Polytechnic or Technological Institution (Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) Minimum 5 years of experience in Health & Safety within an industrial environment Excellent knowledge of H&S legislation and standards Proven experience in drafting reports, policies, and procedures Strong command of English language Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills Ability to manage projects, time, and resources effectively Proficiency in MS Office and general IT tools About the benefits Our Company provides a dynamic working environment, in which cooperation and continuous learning are encouraged and career development relates to performance.In addition, Elval offers its employees a competitive remuneration package and a wide range of benefits.
