Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces and making a meaningful impact across diverse teams? The City of Mississauga is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist with proven experience working with large unionized groups to provide expert guidance and support to various Divisions.
In this role, you’ll help drive occupational safety compliance and continuous improvement by identifying hazards, recommending effective controls, and supporting their implementation. You’ll be a trusted advisor, helping internal clients navigate health and safety requirements while fostering a proactive safety culture.

IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE CITY’S DISCONNECTING FROM WORK POLICY THIS ROLE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK OUTSIDE OF THE ESTABLISHED WORKING HOURS FOR URGENT, UNFORESEEABLE CIRCUMSTANCES, EMERGENCIES, OR BASED ON THE OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE SECTION.
Work Location: Civic Centre Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, this is a hybrid work environment requiring a minimum of three days in office.
