Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

bestchance Child Family Care is currently seeking an exceptional individual with a positive and proactive approach to join our organisation as a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor. Reporting to the General Manager Governance and Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing are maintained across our organisation. By providing expert guidance and operational support, implementing effective policies, procedures, and comprehensive training, you will contribute to creating a safe and nurturing environment for staff, and volunteers.

IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Certificate in a relevant discipline or experience in a similar role.
  • Proven success in building and managing relationships with employees, employers and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Workcover systems and process in Victoria.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and a positive outlook and solutions focused approach.
  • Hold a valid driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check.
