We currently have an opportunity for a Health Safety & Wellbeing Regional Manager. Join our Zero Harm team to support the internal contract and play a key role in providing expert Health & Safety technical advice, management system guidance and practical support to leaders and staff across the business unit. Reporting to the Head of Zero Harm Operations, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.   What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: * Champion the development of a Zero Harm leadership culture at Downer, with a strong focus on manager-led accountability and outcomes. * Oversee the implementation and delivery of the Zero Harm Strategy to ensure performance objectives are achieved within agreed timeframes. * Lead the integration of the Downer Zero Harm Management System into both existing operations and new business opportunities. * Provide expert HSE technical advice, guidance, and support across a Downer contracts, including service delivery partners. * Oversee Zero Harm INX moderation processes across the assigned regions as required. * Lead and/or contribute to Zero Harm projects aligned to strategic objectives, as directed by the Head of Zero Harm – Operations.   What You’ll Bring * Formal work health and safety (or health/science/engineering) qualifications (Degree qualified in relevant discipline) * Trained in ICAM or equivalent investigation methodology & WHS and/or EMS Auditor qualifications or accreditations. * Expensive practical experience within a similar (senior HSE Advisor or Manager) WHS/OHS role. * Experience within Commercial Facilities Management and/or High Risk Construction Industry. * Understanding of safety and environmental management systems (ISO45001/ ISO14001) or equivalent standards. * WHS/OHS legislation/application to an organisation with multiple operating contexts.   More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.   Why Downer?
