Description

The Health Sensing Hardware team is looking for a highly-motivated engineer to work with research scientists and engineers on the next generation of health sensors. You will assist with conceiving, modeling, and prototyping new sensor solutions. This role requires engineering excellence, creativity, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

DESCRIPTION

Our team develops temperature sensors for health applications. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in sensor technology investigations, contribute to the development and characterization of prototypes and write scripts to analyze sensor data. You will also analyze vendor data, define specifications and author documentation. You will perform failure analysis, identify root causes and propose corrective action. You will give clear technical updates to the broader team and management. In addition, you will bring electrical engineering expertise to the team. You will be responsible for circuit design, PCB design, component selection, electrical system bring-up, equipment automation and micro-controller programming. You will have sufficient technical breadth to be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams on activities such as: - Mechanical design - Algorithm development - Tester design - Reliability testing - User study design.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



    • Deep understanding of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and physics fundamentals

    • Experience modeling, building and testing complex systems
    • Proficiency in Python or MATLAB
    • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant proven experience

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Temperature sensing or thermal design
    • Health sensor design
    • Statistics
    • MS or PhD in EE, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
