About the Role
Sentra Care is working with a leading provider of health and social care services to recruit a Health & Social Care Trainer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with training experience in any industry (not just social care) who is confident in engaging groups, delivering interactive sessions, and inspiring learners.
You will spend 2–3 days per week in our London Bridge training suite, with additional travel to visit field staff and deliver sessions across the UK. When overnight stays are required, accommodation costs will be fully covered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions to staff across care services
  • Facilitate induction, refresher, and skills-based workshops
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional guidance to learners
  • Conduct competency assessments and sign off staff as skilled and safe to practice
  • Keep accurate training records in line with company standards
  • Travel to regional sites to deliver in-person training (with notice)

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in delivering training in any sector, with proven ability to mentor and develop others
  • Able to evidence training and assessment competence through a qualification (e.g. PTLLS, Level 3 AET, TAQA) or relevant experience
  • A confident communicator who can hold a room and inspire learning
  • Organised, flexible, and willing to travel across the UK
  • In possession of a full UK driving licence (mileage paid)

Previous social care experience is desirable but not essential.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a team committed to raising standards in care
  • Enjoy a varied role combining training suite delivery and field-based sessions
  • Competitive salary with travel expenses and mileage covered
  • Supportive, professional environment with opportunities to grow

Next Steps

  • Informal interviews will be held before 13th September
  • Final stage will be a classroom-based assessment day on 15th September
