Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

• Serves as the Director for Quality and Safety Division under the general supervision of the Regional Medical Center Director and Deputy Director.
• Oversees the Regional Medical Center Quality and Safety Division budget and fiscal management activities to provide the best possible patient care.
• Assumes the leadership role in developing internal personnel management policies for all employees (military, civilian, and contract employees) of the Regional Medical Center Quality and Safety Division.
• Establishes and maintains good relations with groups and organizations such as other hospitals, medical societies, medical schools, accrediting agencies, public health officials, volunteer groups, news media, and the community.
• Measures the quality of care provided in the health care delivery system, ensures the program meets the standards issued by various accrediting and regulatory groups, and higher agency authorities.
