Description
As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the CentraCare Monticello Emergency Department, you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care.  Schedule * Part-time | 60 hours every two weeks | Onsite * Night shift | 12-hour shift * 7pm-7:30am * Every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays   Pay and Benefits:  * Starting pay begins at $19.42 per hour and increases with experience * Pay range: $19.42-29.39 per hour * Benefits [https://centracarejobs.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/monticello-benefits.pdf]: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!   Qualifications * One year completion of a hospital unit secretary program (or willingness to obtain within one (1) year of employment) preferred. * One-year clerical experience in a healthcare setting preferred. * Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. * Strong customer service skills. * Self-directed and ability to multi-task * Strong interpersonal human relations skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.    CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
