Base Pay $22.77 – $33.34 / hour DOE with a $2.50 HUT Pay Differential Health Unit Technician Schedule is 7am to 7:30pm - 3 12s Job Summary: Focus is on helping to coordinate and provide timely, high-quality services for patients. Primary area of duties will be in the Emergency Department, Acute Care, and Swing Beds. Job Duties: *Assists patients with ADL’s skillfully with consideration for individual needs. *Provides personal hygiene measures appropriately. *Utilizes measures that promote good skin care following the Skin Care Program. *Uses assistive devices in ambulation, dressing and eating. *Provides preventative maintenance and rehabilitative measures, i.e. ambulation, ROM, positioning, dressing, allowing opportunity for self-care. *Promotes residents’ participation in activities. *Provides care outlined in the Negotiated Service Plan. *Performs competently those technical skills considered basic to the scope of service. *Assists the resident in the provision of adequate nutrition, including fluid intake and supplements. *Follows procedures to aid adequate bladder and bowel elimination/retraining. *Adjusts for physical and/or mental limitations. *Demonstrates accurate monitoring of body functions in vital signs, weight, intake and output measurements and collection of specimens. *Replenishes and orders supplies. Reports all maintenance needs promptly. *Supports and promotes unit, department, and facility policies, procedures and goals. *Completes assigned cleaning tasks according to established schedule. *Provides care for the dying resident and provides postmortem care. *Provides orientation for new staff members. Requirements Requirements · Current CNA licensure in the State of Washington - Must be listed on the Registry with a current NAC license in the State of Washington - 1 Year Experience working in the Emergency Department is a Plus
