Working Title: Health & Well-Being Assistant

Classification Title: Health Services Assistant
Classification Salary Range: $4,098 - $7,411 per month
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $4,098 - $5,000 per month.
The final salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Five years of progressively responsible technical clerical work including or supplemented by two years of lead responsibility including or supplemented by experience in budget control and/or development of diverse and extensive administrative guidelines for varied office operations.
- Education: Job-related education above the high school level may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for year basis.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to plan, organize and implement a variety of office operational and equipment needs based on specific program requirements.
- Working knowledge of operational and fiscal analysis and techniques.
- Ability to take initiative and independently plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved.
- Must have strong customer services orientation.
- Knowledge, sensitivity and ability to work with students, faculty, staff and administrators from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience
- Two (2) years’ work experience in an administrative position involving, study analysis and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs
- Thorough knowledge of CSU policies, procedures, and ability to research outside regulations pertaining to the applicable program and/or administrative specialty.
- Must have thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Knowledge of budget policies and account procedures. Knowledge of office systems and ability to use a broader range of technology, systems, and packages.
- Expertise in investigating and analyzing problems with a broad administrative impact and implications. Ability to anticipate problems and address them proactively.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret, organize, and present information and ideas in written or presentation form. Ability to train others on new skills and procedures and provide lead work direction.
- Must be comfortable with dealing with multiple work priorities and projects and being member of a team, but at the same time, be able to act independently in handling varied and complex work assignments.
