ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of young people and adult learners. You will need to be approachable, empathetic and confident in working with a diverse range of students, understanding the challenges they may face and how to help them develop positive coping strategies.
You will bring a minimum of two years of experience in an education or wellbeing or healthcare setting, with a good understanding of mental health and wellbeing. You should have experience in identifying needs and planning appropriate support or interventions, along with the ability to manage confidential information and referrals in a sensitive and professional manner.
Strong communication skills are essential. You will need to deliver clear and effective messages to a wide range of people, including students, staff, and external partners. Your written communication will be of a high standard, and you will be confident presenting and sharing information with different audiences. You will also be highly organised, with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage your time and workload effectively.
You should be comfortable developing positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and confident working as part of a team and independently. If you enjoy making a difference, are proactive in your approach, and are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment, this role offers a rewarding and meaningful next step in your career.
