POSITION SUMMARY: The Healthcare Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations, performance, and development of the Healthcare Accounts Receivable team while ensuring timely claim resolution, reimbursement, and achievement of departmental goals. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines direct supervision with active participation in complex accounts with receivable workflows, escalated claim resolution, and operational support. The Healthcare Accounts Receivable Supervisor provides coaching, performance management, and day-to-day guidance to Accounts Receivable team members while monitoring workload distribution, productivity, quality, and key performance indicators. This role serves as the primary escalation point for complex reimbursement issues, supports staffing and onboarding activities, and provides operational coverage to maintain business continuity in a high-volume environment. Working closely with the Healthcare Accounts Receivable Manager and cross-functional partners, the Supervisor identifies trends, recommends process improvements, and helps drive operational excellence across the revenue cycle. This role fosters accountability, continuous improvement, and a collaborative team culture while supporting organizational initiatives to improve clean claim performance, reimbursement outcomes, and claim resolution timelines. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  •    Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, mentoring, and support for Healthcare Accounts Receivable team members, including full-time and temporary staff.  •    Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, coaching sessions, goal setting, and performance improvement activities to promote accountability and professional development.  •    Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and workforce planning in partnership with the Healthcare Accounts Receivable Manager.  •    Support employee engagement by fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment while effectively leading through organizational change. •    Supervise daily Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring workloads are prioritized appropriately, and team productivity, quality, and service level expectations are consistently achieved.  •    Monitor team performance through key performance indicators, reporting, audits, time-on-task analysis, and operational dashboards; communicate trends, risks, and recommendations to leadership.  •    Provide hands-on operational support by working assigned reports, assisting with claim follow-up activities, and providing coverage during staffing shortages, PTO, or fluctuating workloads.  •    Approve payroll, timekeeping, and other supervisory administrative functions in accordance with company policies. •    Serve as the primary escalation point for complex reimbursement issues, payer concerns, workflow barriers, and claim resolution challenges requiring advanced investigation.  •    Work directly with payers, providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve high-impact reimbursement issues and remove operational barriers affecting claim outcomes.  •    Troubleshoot claim routing, payer configurations, reporting issues, workflow interruptions, and other operational challenges impacting revenue cycle performance.  •    Analyze operational trends, quality findings, reimbursement performance, and workflow metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency.  •    Partner with Finance, Operations, Prior Authorization, Benefits, Claims Excellence, and other stakeholders to improve claim quality, reimbursement outcomes, and end-to-end revenue cycle performance.  •    Maintain and enhance departmental knowledge base documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures to promote consistency, autonomy, and continuous learning.  •    Communicate operational performance, staffing needs, emerging risks, and process improvement opportunities to the Healthcare Accounts Receivable Manager.  •    Prepare and present operational updates, metrics, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leadership when appropriate.  •    Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS regulations, payer contracts, and company policies. •    Demonstrate AbleNet's culture and core philosophies: Listen, Learn, and Lead.  •    Perform other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education & Experience •    Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience  •    2+ years of experience in claims follow up work experience Physical, Time, Presence & Other Requirements Physical:     Standard Office Environment: Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Time:    Full-Time, Exempt employees work an average of 40 hours per week.  Additional hours may be required as necessary. Presence:     Fully Remote: Onsite presence is not expected/will be minimal
