Tasks and activities
You will support our team in prescription billing and cost estimate management, ensuring that prescriptions are thoroughly checked, correctly recorded, and reliably forwarded to the appropriate departments.
Your focus will be on prescription and delivery note verification for medications and medical aids.
- Prescription and delivery note verification: comparison of products, quantities and formalities, clarification of discrepancies with practices or patient management.
- Prescription management: Requesting missing original prescriptions, obtaining corrected prescriptions, accurate documentation in the system
- Data maintenance: Recording and updating all patient and prescription data and forwarding it to the billing team.
- Assistive device cost coverage: Review of existing cost coverage
Skills and talents
- Completed commercial training – ideally in the healthcare sector
- (e.g., healthcare administrator or office manager, medical assistant, medical technical assistant, pharmacy technician)
- Professional experience in prescription verification, billing, cost estimates or similar activities
- Highly structured and meticulous work style – you maintain an overview even with many documents.
- Proficient use of computer applications; experience with iSuite, ZHP, EGKO, DHP or MIP is a plus – otherwise, a willingness to learn is essential.
- A responsible, reliable individual who enjoys communication and teamwork.
- Open, solution-oriented attitude – you contribute and remain friendly, even when things get tricky.
