JOB OVERVIEW

The Healthcare Administrator plays a crucial role in managing the operations of healthcare facilities, ensuring that they run efficiently and effectively. This position involves overseeing various administrative functions, including fiscal management, human resources, and compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of medical office experience and strong leadership skills to foster a productive environment for both staff and patients.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of fiscal management principles, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Experience in medical office management or administration is essential; dental office experience is a plus.
  • Supervising experience with a focus on team development and performance management.
  • Familiarity with Jane software
  • Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
  • Background in nursing or acute care settings is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of managed care principles and utilization management practices.
  • Experience with JCAHO standards is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, and external stakeholders. This role requires a proactive approach to healthcare management while fostering an environment that prioritizes patient satisfaction and operational excellence.
