QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING…

• Previous experience of working within a Urgent Treatment Centre or Hospital environment is essential.
• Good general education, educated to NVQ 2 level or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Previous experience of effective team working
• Knowledge of healthcare computer systems, for example Adastra

ABOUT THE ROLE…

As a member of the Health Care Team, you will be required to deliver caring and effective care respecting personal dignity and beliefs to all the patients attending the UTC. This role is for up to 30 hours per week.
You will be required to assist with the maintenance of a safe care environment including preparing and clearing rooms and equipment with reference to infection control and safe working environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Under guidance from qualified staff to deliver patient clinical care i.e dressing of simple wound, application of plaster of paris, application of slings, dressing changes etc.
