An exciting opportunity has become available to to join our team on Dulas Ward, Ysbyty Gwynedd. Dulas Ward is a busy, very friendly and supportive ward that prides itself on providing the highest standards of care. We are an ENT ward with outliers from Respiratory medicine, Care of the Elderly and Orthopaedics.
The post is for permanent healthcare support worker with part time hours available. To work on the ward, it will involve rotation onto night duty; the ability to have a flexible approach to working hours is essential.
The post holder will support the trained nurse and other health care professionals in the delivery of the highest standard of patient focused care. They will assist in improving the quality of the fundamental aspects of Health and Social Care for individuals who are acutely or chronically ill, frail or disabled.
To assist the registered nurse in carrying out direct nursing care.
To undertake delegated duties related to patient care that contributes to the ongoing support of patients.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
