HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT

Health Care Assistants required for an award winning Residential Care Home for older people. The home has a stable staff team who are passionate and caring about their work. The home has a “Good” CQC rating so the company are looking for Health Care Assistant (HCA / Carer) to strive to “Outstanding” rating.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Health Care Assistant (HCA / Carer), you will be involved in all aspects of our residents’ personal care and encourage residents to participate in recreational activities, supporting them to lead a dignified and fulfilling life.
Our Health Care Assistants deliver the highest standards of person centred care whilst respecting residents’ independence and choice. We will offer you training from day one and support with ongoing career development. Applicants must also be willing to work some evenings and weekends dependant on a 2 week rota.
Qualifications and Skills:
We don’t expect you to have any previous experience or qualifications to be a Health Care Assistant. We value your personal qualities and values and you will be friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator, equally comfortable to act on instructions or work on your own initiative and you’ll enjoy being part of a close-knit team.
