COMPLEX CARE ASSISTANT – FEMALE DRIVER REQUIRED

Location: Slough
Pay Rate: £12.21 – £15.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time | Zero Hours Contract
Shifts Available: Day & Night | Monday to Friday | Weekends

Care4ocus is looking for experienced and dedicated female Complex Care Assistants who are also drivers to support clients with complex health needs in the Slough area.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled carers who are passionate about complex care and want the flexibility of driving to provide care in the community.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1 year of complex care experience (Required)
  • Proven skills in Tracheostomy, Ventilation, PEG feeding, Suctioning, and Epilepsy management
  • Experience with paediatric and adults complex care (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Empathetic, reliable, and professional approach
  • Ability to follow detailed care plans and work independently

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

  • Background in complex care/ Support work, community care, or school-based complex care

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Complex Care Assistant (Driver), you will provide tailored support to individuals with a wide range of complex care needs. You will help clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life—working in both home and community settings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide safe and high-quality complex care in line with personalised plans
  • Deliver personal care, hygiene support, and medication administration
  • Specialist support including Tracheostomy care, Ventilation support, Suctioning, PEG feeding, and Epilepsy management
  • Confidently support paediatric complex care clients
  • Safely drive clients to appointments, activities, and community engagements
  • Maintain accurate care documentation and report changes promptly
  • Uphold strict infection control and safety standards
  • Offer companionship and emotional support as part of holistic care
