Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Salary:£12.71 - £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting service users with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting independence.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Assisting with mobility and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in health and wellbeing.
  • Maintaining accurate care records and following care plans.
  • Adhering to safeguarding and health & safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Mandatory Care Training Certificate (or equivalent mandatory training in Health & Social Care).
  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Assistant is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings if required.
  • Right to work in the UK.
