ABOUT US

Cornerstone Healthcare provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.
Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.
We currently have 3 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, & Mytchett with 2 new services set to open in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025

ABOUT THE ROLE

Cornerstone is on the lookout for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant who’s eager to take the next step towards a Senior role and join our award-winning team.
Kitnocks House is a 63-bed service made up of four specialised units, each offering high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of our residents. We support people with a range of complex conditions, always focusing on the person behind the diagnosis. It’s a warm, safe and supportive environment — and we’re proud to be rated Good by the CQC.

What hours will you work?

Working for us gives you more time for you with a 7 out of 14 day working pattern.

  • Week A - 3 days - Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 07.30 to 20.00
  • Week B - 4 days - Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday: 07.30 to 20.00

Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Observe resident progress against planned goals and report changes in the residents’ condition or care needs
  • Supporting all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes and social activities
  • Helping residents to remain as independent as possible
  • Respecting residents right of choice, privacy and dignity at all times
