We’re on the Lookout for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Rossendale Team!

• Contract – Permanent
• Hours – Part-time, Flexible working
• Location – Rossendale Minor Injuries Unit, Rossendale Primary Health Care Centre, Rossendale, BB4 7PL
• Salary – £12.80 an hour

Main duties of the role
The post holder will undertake a range of clinical duties including wound care, dressings, observations, applying plaster of Paris, splints and bandaging to patients with fractures and sprains, wound closure (glue/steri-stripps), removal of sutures/clips, worsening advice/ aftercare and personal care to patients.
In addition, the role will include contributing to administrative, reception and housekeeping duties within the service location and there will be times when reception cover will be required. Training for this will be provided.
