We are looking for sociable and interactive individuals in Bridport, Dorset, and the surrounding areas. Your great sense of humour and banter, paired with a good heart and the desire to make a difference, is just what we need in our service users care package.
Our service user is an easy-going gentleman who loves a laugh and engaging with his care team. His hobbies include listening to music, gaming and Dodger, his dog! With the support of a loyal and supportive care team, he would love to get back into fishing, a fulfilling pastime of his. Regular routine is paramount for our service user, as well as frequent contact with his family.
No experience is necessary for this role, full training will be provided. However, if you live outside of Bridport, you must be a driver.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Catheter Care.
  • Client is wheelchair dependent and requires moving and handling.
  • Supporting with medication administration.
  • Providing companionship.
  • Personal Care
  • Spinal Cord Injury Care.
  • Supporting with daily activities.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Sociable and interactive
  • Dedicated and flexible.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • Passionate and empathetic.
  • Driving licence is essential for this role unless you live in Bridport.
  • Experience is desirable but not essential for this role as training is provided.
  • Proof of your right to live and work in the UK.
