Healthcare Assistants are required in Ludlow, Shropshire. We are looking for more than 4+ HCA/Support Workers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
  • A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, with excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with care plans and an understanding of individualised care approaches is beneficial.
  • Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Healthcare Assistant to join our care team in Cambridge & Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have based locally or able to travel with ease.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the healthcare team.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment.
  • Drive residents to appointments or activities as needed, adhering to all safety regulations.
