Are you passionate about making a real difference to peoples health and well-being? Were looking for a friendly and confident Healthcare Assistant to join our caring team and support our patients through a variety of clinical activities. What youll be doing: Using your healthcare knowledge and understanding of basic physiology to offer clear, friendly advice during NHS Health Checks and help patients understand why specific procedures are needed. Performing blood tests confidently, including venepuncture from different sites and capillary blood tests, helps us diagnose and monitor patient health.
Fitting and using a range of clinical devices, such as 12-lead ECGs, blood pressure monitors, scales, and measuring tapes making sure every patient feels comfortable throughout. Building positive relationships with patients, making them feel at ease, and demonstrating confidence and professionalism in all you do. What were looking for: Good knowledge of healthcare vocabulary and physiology basics. Experience and confidence in venepuncture and blood sampling.
