WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• At least 2 years of experience in medical billing—therapy or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong grasp of Medicaid, commercial insurance plans, and managed care policies
• Skilled in claim reprocessing, denial management, secondary billing, and appeals
• Comfortable using EMRs and clearinghouses and eager to work with AI-assisted systems
• Exceptional attention to detail—you double-check your work
• Organized, reliable, and excellent at documentation and communication
• Confident in handling sensitive financial conversations with clarity and professionalism

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and submit AI-generated claims for Speech, OT, PT, and Feeding Therapy
• Post charges and payments with accuracy and accountability
• Identify and resolve denied or unpaid claims through reprocessing or appeals
• Spot and correct potential claim issues before submission
• Reconcile EOBs/EOPs and ensure proper payer reimbursement
• Ensure billing processes align with HIPAA and individual payer regulations
• Provide clear, professional communication to insurance companies and patients when resolving billing issues
