OVERVIEW

The Revenue Cycle Management and Strategy team is seeking a Healthcare Business Analyst to help support a rapidly growing healthcare organization. This role will work within the Business Analytics team to analyze and report on all areas of the business and contribute to developing innovative data solutions. The ideal candidate is excited to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and has a willingness to learn. The position will report to the Manager of Business Analytics.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in STEM, finance, accounting, economics, or related major preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Healthcare/Revenue Cycle preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Domo, Databricks, Snowflake or similar tools
  • Experience with SQL programming and visual ETL tools preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts
  • Experience testing and validating various business workflows
  • Ability to pick up new concepts quickly and adapt them for fast-paced turnaround of data projects
  • ‘Team player’ attitude and a good sense of humor
  • High performer with a desire to develop and learn

Responsibilities
  • Transform, analyze, and visualize business and industry data using ETL and visualization tools
  • Maintain existing operational data workflows and reporting
  • Support the development of new creative analyses that drive business performance insights
  • Assist in other ad hoc projects including, but not limited to, corporate development, FP&A, operations, and strategic planning
  • Validate data structures and outputs for accuracy and integrity
  • Command a deep understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle and data structures within EMR systems
  • Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and propose data-driven recommendations to improve operational and financial performance
  • Prepare executive-level presentations summarizing analytical findings and strategic recommendations
  • Assist in the development of forecasting tools and models to anticipate revenue trends, patient volumes, and financial outcomes
  • Work closely with IT and external vendors during system upgrades or EMR integrations to ensure analytics continuity
