  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to support individuals with challenging behaviours.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate professionals.
  • Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the client and yourself.
  • Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols, to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
