Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: The Healthcare Clinical Coordinator leads and inspires the healthcare team to deliver exceptional, compassionate, and person-centered nursing care within the healthcare neighborhood. This position plays a vital leadership role—providing direction, technical expertise, and mentorship to supportive nursing personnel—while fostering a culture of teamwork, trust, and excellence. This role will focus on ensuring quality care, and maintaining a clean, safe, and home-like environment where every resident feels valued and respected. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care. Provide leadership, coaching, and clinical guidance to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and accountability. Encourage collaboration, teamwork, and unity across both units by providing the tools and support needed for success. Uphold and advocate for residents’ rights, dignity, and overall well-being. Ensure the environment remains safe, welcoming, and reflective of a true home atmosphere. Apply critical thinking, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Adapt effectively to an evolving healthcare environment that demands both technical skill and compassionate care. Requirements Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent education and experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through the Virginia Board of Nursing. 2–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or a similar setting. Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in managing stressful situations and responding effectively to medical emergencies. Proficient with technology and adaptable to new clinical tools and systems. CPR certification (or ability to obtain). Strong customer service mindset—approaching every interaction with empathy, respect, and hospitality.
