JOB SUMMARY

Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Healthcare Compliance Specialist to join our team in a full-time, work-from-home role based out of Utah. This position plays a key role in maintaining our organization’s commitment to ethical practices and regulatory compliance. This individual will handle confidential compliance hotline calls, conduct audits, and ensure that all issues are followed through to resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, extensive administrative background, a solid understanding of healthcare compliance, and the ability to work independently with professionalism and discretion. *Candidate to be based in Utah.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive knowledge & working administrative office experience
  • Prior experience in healthcare compliance or regulatory oversight preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with SharePoint is a plus
  • Must have a private home office free from interruptions
  • Strong professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, OIG, and state-level healthcare regulations preferred
Responsibilities
  • Answer, document, and assign incoming compliance hotline calls
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of reported concerns
  • Conduct audits, including exclusion list checks (OIG, SAM), license verification, and sanction reviews
  • Maintain accurate and confidential compliance documentation
  • Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, and external contacts
  • Prepare clear reports and summaries of findings for leadership
  • Assist with various compliance projects and initiatives as assigned
