Requirements VMG Health is looking for Analyst Interns for our Finance, Compensation, and Planning practice groups. Candidates for an Analyst intern role in our Planning practice group must have an interest and/or background in building their financial skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work in a collaborative, team-based environment Contribute to client engagements in a meaningful way in one or more of our practice areas Interact with clients on some engagements Travel to client sites on an as-needed basis (travel typically amounts to less than 10% of Internship time) Support VMG's general marketing and business development efforts Participate in, and occasionally lead, VMG's internal learning efforts. QUALIFICATIONS: An undergraduate degree and be in the process of obtaining an MHA, MBA, or MPH in health care management with a strong record of academic performance A genuine interest in consulting for hospitals/health systems, provider contracting organizations, health plans, and other health service companies A quantitative and detail-oriented skill set A strong desire to develop expertise in one of our practice groups (planning, finance or compensation) Established proficiency in use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; and Strong writing and communication skills.
