What You’ll Do As our Home Health & Hospice Data Analyst, you will: Build powerful dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI Execute and optimize complex SQL queries Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple platforms Identify trends across census, staffing, productivity, revenue cycle, and clinical outcomes Present findings directly to operational and clinical leadership Support a rapidly growing multi-state home health & hospice organization This is a role with real organizational visibility — your work directly shapes strategy, staffing, financial planning, and ultimately, patient care. What You Bring Experience working in Home Health and/or Hospice is REQUIRED Mastery of Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical leaders Experience within EMRs like Axxess, HCHB, Kantime, MatrixCare, WellSky (bonus points for multiple!) Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Demonstrated attention to detail. Model ethical and professional behavior always. Deep understanding of Home Health & Hospice reimbursement models, including: PDGM and episodic payments Hospice benefit periods & LOS patterns LUPA, NOA/RAP/Final claims and revenue cycle metrics Quality/clinical KPIs (QAPI, CAHPS, visit utilization, etc.) Ability to work with large structured datasets and transform data into meaningful insights. Strong analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and data integrity. Ability to interpret data trends, identify root causes, and make actionable recommendations. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills — able to translate complex data for non-technical audiences. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across finance, clinical, operations, and executive leadership. Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning. Strict adherence to confidentiality, security, and HIPAA standards. Working Conditions & Physical Effort: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Ability to sit in front of CPU for long periods of time. Physical activity is sedentary and may require occasional lifting or carrying up to 10 lbs.
