SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as life science, social science, language-focused humanities), or 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (data quality management, healthcare industry, etc.) is considered an asset
  • Educational or work experience summarizing and/or reporting complex technical information
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is considered an asset
  • A comprehensive understanding of the US healthcare landscape is considered an asset
Responsibilities
  • Read and work with complex, technical documents
  • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, and follows style guidelines with a high level of accuracy
  • Summarize and report important changes from complex healthcare-related documents, which provides valuable insights to clients
  • Perform routine maintenance on an existing database of medical policy information, gaining relevant industry expertise
  • Evaluate current content & processes and develop innovative approaches for improvement to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Make independent and strategic decisions
  • Conduct quality control checks on your own work, as well as the work of colleagues as required
  • Provide support and guidance to new hires, potentially train new hires, and participate in the mentorship program when requested
  • May be responsible for coordinating specific team workflows and collecting statistics
  • May contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal process documentation and knowledge management resources
  • Potential to participate in team projects focusing on improvement of processes
