Pay rate is $18 hourly What you'll do The job responsibilities include performing general healthcare environmental services (EVS) duties to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces; high-level dusting; emptying trash; cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms; wet mopping floors; and following infection prevention protocols. Candidates must have prior experience in healthcare environmental services and a strong understanding of hospital cleaning standards and safety procedures. Qualifications Healthcare experience required Must be able to enter patient rooms, including rooms with isolation precautions High school diploma or GED preferred Must have a high level of customer service skills Ideal individuals will be self-starters with strong communication skills Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional Responsible and work well in a busy environment Ability to read, write and speak English Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds at times Must be able to reach, bend, squat, lift and pull safely and efficiently Must have reliable form of transportation to get to and from work Must pass a background check and drug screen Must be able to show proof of recent FLU vaccinations
