Position Summary The Healthcare Policy Reporting Specialist I, Research is responsible for delivering payer landscape projects that impact US healthcare market access strategies. This role involves comprehensive and thorough research; attention to detail and high data accuracy; and solution focused problem-solving skills. They work towards continuous process improvement and provide guidance, support, and training as needed. Our clients include large pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostics companies, as well as leading academic institutions and organized provider groups. Role & Responsibilities Investigate and synthesize data on accessing (diagnostic) testing coverage from payer policies, forms, and special advisories Conduct analysis and generate insights in the form of dashboards/visualizations for clients Act as subject matter expert providing insight into medical necessity, prior authorization, payment complexity Support the development of report templates for displaying (diagnostic) coverage insights that aligns with well-established reporting methodologies Perform quality assurance on complex reporting produced by Research team members, if required. Act as an escalation point throughout the lifecycle of a project, for queries on data extraction and quality assurance practices. Produce findings and insights at key milestones of the project, providing these in writing to clients as well as presenting them on conference calls. Support with onboarding and training for Research team members on complex reporting projects. Provide feedback to Research team members on the quality and timeliness of their work, and share this feedback regularly with their line manager. Foster Leadership and Continuous Improvement within the Research Team. Participate in the Research Leadership Group, conducting goal setting and steering the direction of the Research team. Support initiatives that deliver operational improvements within the Research team, in line with department goals. Act as a trainer or mentor for new hires, supporting their onboarding and induction into the Research team. Other responsibilities or duties as specified by the company. Skills & Qualifications Synthesizing and analyzing insights from large data sets Summarizing, presenting, and defending findings to both internal and external stakeholders Excellent organizational and problem solving skills High attention to detail Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel skills Effective verbal and written communication; ability to communicate and present findings to clients in a clear and concise manner Expert English language skills (both written and verbal).
