REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a strategic Business Integration Specialist for a mid-level, long-term contract role with a state government agency. While this position supports a technology-related project, the role itself is non-technical and focuses on strategy, policy, leadership, and relationship management.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary lead for a key project designed to leverage the state’s Health Information Exchange (NC HealthConnex) to improve quality and population health outcomes.
Please note: This is a hybrid position requiring one day of work onsite in Raleigh, NC, per week.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary lead for the project, including finalizing the project design and developing a strategy for future phases.
  • Lead the policy and financial strategy related to the initiative.
  • Cultivate and maintain collaborative working relationships with key internal and external partners, including the Health Information Exchange Authority, Medicaid experts, and vendors.
  • Collect and synthesize information and feedback from stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Manage project budgeting, invoicing, and contracting as needed.
  • Supervise 1-2 full-time staff members supporting this initiative.
