Description Healthcare Quality Coordinator Do you have a passion for data, a drive for improvement, and a heart for serving seniors? LIFE Senior Services is seeking a Quality Coordinator to support our LIFE PACE program — a unique, community-based healthcare model designed to help seniors live safely at home while receiving the care they need. As a Quality Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring service excellence and regulatory compliance through data collection, analysis, reporting, and process improvement. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of older adults and the effectiveness of the care teams that serve them. What You’ll Do: Support daily operations of the Quality & Compliance team. Collect, analyze, and interpret data to improve services and meet reporting standards. Help develop and monitor quality improvement plans and compliance protocols. Coordinate and participate in committee meetings, audits, and special projects. Track grievances and appeals, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Serve as a resource for internal staff and external providers on quality-related matters. Requirements CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: · Certifications in quality assurance/performance improvement is a plus. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Prefer a degree in a health-related field. · Prefer two years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: · Working knowledge of physical, mental and social needs of the elderly population. · Effective oral and written communications skills. · Knowledge of data collection and analysis methods. · Ability to collect, interpret and analyze data. · Ability to work independently and as member of a team. · Computer skills required. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The main work environment is an office setting of a non-profit organization providing a variety of services to seniors and their families. The activity level is high and the noise level is moderate. The work environment will include a variety of clinician settings, day centers, hospitals, nursing homes and individuals’ homes.
