Roles & Responsibilities

USI Global Recruitment is hiring experienced PICU and NICU Registered Nurses for a specialised paediatric homecare programme in the Republic of Ireland.

POSITION: PICU REGISTERED NURSE

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification paediatric nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience
• Experience working in a large acute, tertiary referral or metropolitan hospital with 250+ beds
• Experience providing 1:1 nursing care to critically ill children
• Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in managing complex paediatric cases

POSITION: NICU REGISTERED NURSE

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
• Minimum 4 years of acute paediatric nursing experience
• Experience providing 1:1 nursing care to critically ill infants
• Previous PICU or acute paediatric nursing experience
• Experience in ED, HDU, acute medical or surgical units is desirable
• Ability and confidence to work independently in a paediatric homecare environment

Desired Candidate Profile

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

Candidates with any of the following experience will be considered favourably:

• Overseas PICU/NICU experience
• Adult ICU/HDU experience
• Previous paediatric homecare nursing experience
• SALARY & BENEFITS
• Salary: €38,000 – €47,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Additional pay for night shifts, Sundays and public/bank holidays
• 3-year employment contract
• 39 hours per week
• Location: Republic of Ireland – Nationwide

ELIGIBILITY

• NMBI registration is mandatory
• Relevant paediatric nursing experience is required
• Candidates must meet the professional and employment requirements applicable to nursing roles in Ireland
