Job Summary WELLBE INTRODUCTION The WellBe care model is a Physician Led Advanced Practice geriatric care (care of older adults) team focused on the care of the frail, poly-chronic, elderly Medicare Advantage patients. This population is typically underserved and very challenged with access to care. To address these problems, we have elected to bring the care to the patient, instead of trying to bring the patient to the care. Care is provided throughout the entire continuum of care – from chronic care and urgent care in the home, to hospital, to skilled nursing facility, to assisted living, to palliative care, to end of life care. WellBe's physician/advanced practicing clinician led geriatric care teams’ partner with the patient’s primary care physician to provide concierge level geriatric medical care and social support in the home as well as delivering and coordinating across the entire care continuum. GENERAL SUMMARY This role will advance WellBe’s understanding of our patient's healthcare utilization and how we can reduce unnecessary healthcare costs while achieving better patient outcomes, and patient experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge/understanding of healthcare data sets, including medical claims, HCC, HEDIS, Eligibility and Census. This role reports to the Manager of Data and Quality Management and works closely with operational and clinical leaders. The HealthCare Reporting Analyst will be responsible for collecting, preparing, and acting upon data to ensure data integrity. This role will give you the opportunity to use your analytical knowledge and skill to derive insights which will drive actions and generate value from that intelligence by initiating new analytic solutions and by providing input to operations processes. Job Description SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Responsible for analytic data needs of various business unit Handle complex data projects and acts as a lead for other Data Analysts Daily administration and proactive monitoring of business-critical data in integrated databases Manage process queues and mitigate any exception output within expected SLAs Manage the quality of data processed through health plan and partner submitted data sources Perform accuracy checks and resolve exceptions produced by integration processes Provide data stewardship and governance for business operations in all or some of the following areas: claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management. Develop reports and deliverables for management Create data dictionaries to document data types, associated business rules, and remediations paths Test and correct errors, and refine changes to database Perform end to end diagnostic analytics to identify data anomalies to be resolved and fixed at source Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts. Work with key business owners to establish and meet their data needs and the data needs of the organization Work with IT and Analytics teams to operationalize analytic and reporting innovations Other tasks needed to accomplish team’s objectives/goals Answer user questions Confers with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other systems Job Requirements Educational/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4 years of data stewardship or data analysis experience. Healthcare experience required. 2+ years of experience in health care data analysis Required Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Reporting and Analysis tools, SQL, and visual analytic applications. Proven experience, ideally in healthcare, with Data Governance, Catalog and Data Quality products. Hands-on experience defining data and quality standards and building data integration workflows in a data analyst role. Fluency in SQL or other similar programming languages. Some development experience in at least one scripting language (Python, R, etc.) is a plus.
