Location: Calgary, AB Schedule: Full Time, 12-hour shifts (Day or Night) Pay Rate: $18.50/hour Employment Type: Full Time Averaging Agreement: Yes (12-hour shifts) Overview As a Healthcare Security Guard at AgeCare Mount Royal, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role involves conducting regular patrols, responding to calls for assistance, supporting healthcare teams during emergencies, and helping maintain order and safety within the facility. Each day provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of those in our care. Responsibilities Monitor facility premises and ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Conduct regular patrols of designated areas. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance. Support healthcare personnel during challenging or high-stress situations. Document incidents accurately and maintain detailed security reports. Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site safety and security protocols. Must reside in Calgary. Must be male. Must possess a valid security license. Must have open availability, 7 days per week, for both day and night shifts. Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Nice to Have Customer service experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
