Location: High Level, AB Schedule: Variety of shifts including overnights and weekends Pay Rate: $27.00/hour Employment Type: Full-Time Overview Paladin Security is seeking professional and dedicated Healthcare Security Guards to join our team in High Level, AB. As a key member of a national leader in security services, you will help ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors within healthcare facilities. This role requires strong communication skills, sound decision-making, and the ability to remain calm and professional in dynamic environments. Responsibilities Apply strong decision-making and communication skills in all security and safety duties Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed Follow Post Orders and complete site-specific training Conduct traffic and pedestrian control at access points Patrol assigned areas on foot and in a motor vehicle Monitor for safety hazards, infractions, and irregularities Report security breaches, hazards, and emergency situations Provide assistance to individuals in need Contact emergency responders when required Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of information Respond to inquiries professionally and appropriately Utilize two-way radios and computer applications Promote workplace safety and act with professionalism and integrity Support and motivate team members Must live within 30 minutes of High Level, AB Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or higher Own reliable vehicle Full availability, including overnight shifts and weekends Ability to obtain an Alberta Security License Authorized to legally work in Canada Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain logs Ability to make immediate decisions and remain composed in emergencies Discretion when handling confidential information Ability to work under pressure Physically capable of walking 18–20 km per shift and climbing stairs Competitive wages Health Care Benefits (as per plan eligibility) Dental Benefits (as per plan eligibility) Company-provided uniforms with monthly dry-cleaning allowance Opportunities for growth within a national organization
