We are currently hiring Security Officers to support a Health Care Center in Fort Myers, FL. Join a professional, customer-focused team dedicated to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure healthcare environment while providing excellent customer service. This role requires professionalism, situational awareness, and the ability to interact compassionately with patients, visitors, and medical staff. Pay Rate: $19.00/HR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors * Provide general security services in accordance with client requirements and post instructions * Monitor access points and conduct routine patrols * Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity * De-escalate situations professionally and calmly when needed * Interact respectfully with patients, visitors, and healthcare personnel * Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely * Comply with all DSI policies, client requirements, and safety procedures QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS * Minimum 18 years of age * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid security license as required by state or local regulations * Valid driver’s license (preferred) * Reliable transportation and means of communication * Strong customer service and communication skills * Basic to intermediate computer skills * Ability to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions * Must pass all required background checks and drug screenings REQUIRED HEALTH & VACCINATION COMPLIANCE Candidates must provide proof of required vaccinations prior to the first day of duty, or be willing to receive them, including: * Influenza (flu shot) * PPD / Tuberculosis test (within the last two years) * TDAP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) * VZV (Chickenpox) * Hepatitis B * MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) AVAILABLE SHIFTS * Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available (based on site needs) BENEFITS * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Paid training * Complimentary uniforms * Employee recognition programs   License # BB9800008   DSI Security Services is a drug free employer complies with all applicable laws regarding affirmative action and equal opportunity in all its activities and programs and does not discriminate against anyone protected by law because of age, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, sex, handicap, or status as a veteran or disabled veteran.   DSI Security Services is an equal employment/affirmative action employer.
