EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

· Excellent customer service skills and attitude
· Ability to work under extreme pressure in a fast-paced Call Center
· Knowledge of medical terminology
· Excellent attention to detail
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Computer, telephone, fax machine utilization
· Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations

Responsibilities
  • Answer patient calls efficiently ensuring accurate registration, appointment scheduling, safety screening
  • Discuss Insurance benefits, as well as the patient’s financial responsibilities.
  • Pleasant and accurate response to patient’s questions and needs by editing, canceling or re-scheduling appointments
  • Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate manager(s)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
