THE CANDIDATE:

We are looking for a kind, friendly, confident, and outgoing Health Care Support Worker to provide patient focused and quality-care and to support the delivery of apheresis services in the Glasgow Clinical Apheresis Unit based at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre. You will become a valued member of a dynamic team, assisting in the delivery of the apheresis activity. Venepuncture skills and experience of working in an acute setting are desirable. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, ability to prioritise workload and good communication skills are essential for this role
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme check. Any candidate who have lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
