As a Healthcare Installation Technician, you’ll be responsible for the onsite installation of crucial safety systems in healthcare facilities, including nurse call, security, and fire life safety. You’ll work under the direction of leadership and management to help with the installation of various projects.
This role is a vital part of the team, performing tasks like installing devices, running wires, and handling basic construction to ensure projects are completed successfully. You should also be familiar with electrical regulations, construction requirements, material and device functions, and industry standards. Responsibilities include demolition, construction rough ins, wire pulling, material staging, project prep and clean up.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 0-2 years in construction and/or low voltage systems installation
• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Trade school certification preferred
• Must be able to get required immunization and vaccination needed for the position
• Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends, as needed

• Maintain good housekeeping while on project site by keeping work area clean and organized
• Follow instructions from Lead/Foreman to ensure successful installation of project components
• Adhere to all workplace safety expectations, regulations and standards
• Interpret drawings and identify best methods of project completion
• Possess knowledge of security, nurse call and fire life safety systems, including but not limited to EST3, Lenel, and Ascom
• Have ability to operate basic hand tools
• Punctuality and regular attendance
